The Kesla 20SH-II stroke harvester is dominate in delimbing power. For lower flow and horsepower base machines, the 20SH-II is a perfect match. If speed isn't a concern, but log quality and excellent delimbing power is, the 20SH-II is a winner. Ideal wood type is 25cm/10" diameters, but can easily harvest a 50cm/20" tree from the stump no problem. Well suited to 7 to 13 ton base machines, 20SH-II is an excellent choice for land owners that don't log full time, but every once in a while need to do some work on their land. Low cost of transporting makes this an ideal forestry package for small logging operations, landscaping companies, community forests, and land owners.
Intelligent Finnish engineering, designed to be simple, easy to service, and very reliable, the stroke harvester design is perfect for the business focussed on small clean up work, fuel reduction work for fire mitigation, storm clean up.
The delimbing force is what the stroke heads are known for. Although a slower moving harvester, the delimbing force is unmatched by the use of cylinder power versus feed motor power. Because there are no feed motors, the extremely powerful hydraulic cylinders will clean a tree of branches with zero issues and very little wood damage.
Every KESLA harvester package supplied by Axis Forestry is powered by the Cypress Robotics Gen6 control and measuring system—an advanced Canadian-built platform designed to maximize productivity, simplify operation, and increase machine versatility. Beyond delivering accurate measuring, intuitive controls, and powerful diagnostics, Cypress allows contractors to operate multiple attachments from a single familiar interface. Whether running a harvester head, grapple, bucket, rake, mulcher, processor, or other hydraulic attachment, operators can quickly switch between tools without learning a new control system or reconfiguring the machine.
For contractors looking to maximize equipment utilization, Cypress provides a significant advantage. A single carrier can be transformed from a harvester into a site preparation, mulching, road building, or material handling machine while maintaining the same controls, display, and operating experience. Combined with remote support, software updates, machine diagnostics, and direct support from Axis Forestry, the Cypress Gen6 platform helps reduce downtime, shorten training time, and keep crews productive across a wide range of forestry and land management applications.
